Recovery is not a sudden magic.
It is a return to ancient wisdom.

Lifeguide is a private recovery and longevity journey through South Korea. There are no quick fixes here. No clinical miracles. Lifeguide is built on a simpler, older truth: that the body knows how to heal itself when given the right conditions.

This is a guided return to how the body was always meant to function. Drawing from the long-practiced wisdom of traditional medicine, fermentation, and herbal knowledge, the experience does not treat you. You learn. You practice. You integrate. The rhythm continues after you leave.

The Foundation

The slow, quiet power of the gut.

At the heart of every Lifeguide journey is the Hwang family's private cellar at Ojina, on Jeju Island. Inside, the air is thick with time. Seed soy sauce darkened over a hundred and thirty years. Kimchi that has aged quietly for sixteen.

For more than twenty years, they have practiced one truth: that immunity begins in the gut. Recovery, given time, follows.

The host

A founder-led week.

Lifeguide is held by Jay Jeong, founder. The host you meet on the first evening is the host who sees you off on the last morning. One host. Arrival to departure. No rotation, no handoff. Because trust cannot be transferred.

The 2026 season is now open.

Each program runs once a month, by inquiry. Detailed scope, fees, and booking terms live on the Journey and Retreat pages. An inquiry begins the conversation — Jay reads each one personally, and a first response usually arrives within forty-eight hours.
