Booking & terms

An inquiry begins the conversation. If the dates and intent align, a 50% deposit secures the stay. The balance is due sixty days before arrival.

Because each retreat relies on the reserved time of private hosts, family practitioners, and local partners, deposits become non-refundable within ninety days of arrival.

The recovery package

A month after you return home, a parcel arrives by post. It contains the teas you drank at Bongsujae, and a small reserve of the Hwang family's fermented syrup — a physical reminder of the rhythm you experienced.

On Ojina

The Hwang family are keepers of traditional fermentation and herbal practices, not licensed medical professionals. Nothing offered through Lifeguide is a clinical service or a substitute for medical care.

Begin

If a slow village week speaks to you, an inquiry is the next step. Jay will respond personally with season availability and a short note on what would suit you.
